Brother Joe Gibbs Left Us Much Too Soon..

Joe Gibbs. When he left us in February 08; we didn't have a chance to honor him properly. knowing we could never forget his contribution - BadGals and FoundationSound set aside the proper time for a tribute and present it here.

Trevor Elliott - The Musical Ambassador presents "Thank You Joe Gibbs"

Thank You Joe Gibbs - from The Bassa As one of Jamaicas' Earliest Super Producers, Joe gave us a mountain of hits that still reign as top sellers in the foundation and dancehall reggae categories. Any Artist who was really popular eventually made their way into the catalog of Joe Gibbs, as either a single or if they were really ready for fame - a complete album; as was the case for Culture when they dropped their most famous sides on "Two Sevens Clash". To this day - no other reggae producer has Gone out of the Business after loosing their company in a scandal - and resurfaced with a string of top hits. we all remember the Infamous Charlie Pride v. Joe Gibbs Lawsuit for absconding writers credits and royalties on the Billboard Top Hit by Jamaican / English Songbird J.C. Lodge -"Someone Loves You Honey" (81'). Our Own Musical Ambassador "Trevor Elliott", leads us down memory lane with this Brilliant momento of sound for our brother in zion - "Joe Gibbs". RIP Joe - You will be sorely missed This Musical Tribute contains some of Joes' Biggest Hits, such as:
  • Hold Them - Roy Shirley
  • The Road is Rough - Joe Gibbs and The Professionals
  • Money in My Pocket - Dennis Brown
