We along with most of the World and Internet Are asking this question Honestly -
Alot of sites were hacked this past few weeks; much like ours. we however faired better due to diligence on our part; Bless Up and Enjoy our Lil Morsel of Hacked Rockery
before it happened we had thought ahead. We set up chron jobs, regular backups; multiple databases and back up databases; and most importantly good error logs. we were in the process of doing a version upgrade when we were attacked several weeks ago. so many of you thought that the time we were offline had to do with backside maintanance. so did we for a few hours. then the truth was revealed in the error logs. a call to our tech who did a fast restoration of a clean scrubbed copy of the database and booyah we were back like grits. when were down we pondered if we should discuss it and felt - well yes and no. so finally we decided to come clean in the face of what has happened to sites much larger and much more interactive than ours. we are still suffering under bot attacks. thankfully our domain hosts heard our pleas immediately after inspecting the logs. they instantly move on these types of issues. primarily because one bot can bring down an entire network. (btw, my host is the host for .2% of the internet from statistics I read on the internet recently) we worked hand and hand with the level threes to bait and lure the US Idiots; as well as The Russians; Israeli's, Chinese and Mexicans who were attacking our site. the first thing we realized was that only apparently Black Interest Sites were being botnetted in this dos attack. that being said - our provider also provided a little help with special backside scripting for security purposes. they are magical to say the least. we refer to them on a daily basis to decide which ip's to block now. so with this present situation causing our normal operations to change somewhat. we decided to help the hackers stay interested just a little while longer while we ring them out. yeahhhh we knowwww - it's not nice to bait trolls. butterah who called the trolls in the first place ? besides isn't the internet a free country ? with that said, here's a lil taste of the delicious dumpling I'm droppin in ya bowl on thursday.
So Take This Jackers.. oops i meant Hackers... no offense nice folks; we're talking to the idiots who are trying to use us to implant a trojan on your machine. we refuse to do it. we're as clean as the board of health. our code is inspected and lovingly hand sanitized several times a day now; after each cron list of changes arrives. so join us in rooting them out. Please Help Us All and if You Know Them - Turn Them In. Let them know that You Love BadGalsRadio and Reggae Music; and that you do not approve of miniature ass cowardice and idiot style fuckery pre-empting your Rockers Music, Videos, News and Wicked BadGals Fun.

Hip-Hop Sites Hacked By Apparent Hate Group; SOHH, AllHipHop Temporarily Suspend Access

Hip-hop Web sites SOHH.com and AllHipHop.com were forced to temporarily suspend access to their sites on Friday after being targeted this week by an apparent hate group. Both companies' sites were hacked, and instead of the usual hip-hop related news articles and feature stories, readers were shocked to find fake headlines and obviously photoshopped pictures saturated with racial slurs and other offensive terms; the hackers also stole personal information about employees of SOHH.com. A group or individual going by the name "Anonymous" has claimed responsibility. SOHH was first infiltrated last week on its forum pages and shut itself down on Friday; AllHipHop.com also had its forums compromised. AllHipHop was back up on Friday evening, and by Monday (June 30), SOHH had a statement on its site similar to the one released by CEO Felicia Palmer on Friday, in which she said the company was working diligently to solve the problem and has been in contact with authorities. "It appears that hackers are specifically targeting Black, Hispanic, Asian and Jewish youth who ascribe to hip-hop culture," the statement read. "Other websites, including AllHipHop and DatPiff[.com's] forums have also been compromised or threatened this week. ... Also, as this is an international issue, it is being addressed by the FBI and the Strategic Alliance Cyber Crime Working Group." In a statement released late Friday afternoon, AllHipHop co-founders Chuck Creekmur and Greg Watkings said: "Urban culture and lifestyle has come under attack by a group of cyber terrorists. AllHipHop and SOHH, two pioneering Web sites that have been in the industry for over 10 years, are appalled by the unprovoked racist attacks of these cyber terrorists. With all the social strides that we have seen for several years, it is sad to see that this sort of blatant, hateful racism still exists in 2008 — a time of tremendous possibility. Together, AllHipHop and SOHH are committed to relentlessly pursuing these attackers, using every resource available, to ensure the capture of these criminals and prevention of repeat offenses." SOHH and AllHipHop say they have joined forces to resolve the issue and have involved the proper authorities. Further comment is expected.
